Catalyst

Exhaust gas purification catalyst for general-purpose 2-stroke engines

We have developed a catalyst for general-purpose 2-stroke engines that is lightweight and exhibits high exhaust gas purification performance by applying the papermaking technology cultivated in the production of friction materials for clutches and by in-house production of precious metal catalysts. Light weight is achieved by molding paper containing alumina as the main material into a honeycomb shape.

In addition, high exhaust gas purification performance is achieved without using platinum, which is an expensive precious metal.

Wet multi-plate clutch FLS TM (FCC LEANING SEGMENT)

Reduce sticking torque and drag torque by tilting the friction material and controlling the oil flow.
Pursuit of a single field allows the venturer to reach ground where others fail to follow. F.C.C. has dedicated some 70 years to a single functional part, “the clutch,” to become one of the few leading experts in this field. We are now taking our collective strength—forged through our creative ideas, distinguished technology, unparalleled production equipment, and uncompromising quality control—from Japan to the world, as we scale up the making of cutting-edge products to global level. F.C.C. keeps a close eye on the course of motorization in all of the world and pioneers new frontiers in bringing to the world the unseen and the unheard-of. The quest to make the ultimate product moves on at F.C.C., a company of which there is only one.

Wet multi-plate assist & slipper TM clutch

A compact and lightweight clutch that uses an aluminum cam structure to reduce lever load and reduce back torque caused by sudden engine braking.
As a manufacturer making clutches from start to finish—from research and development of Joining Technology to their final assembly, F.C.C. has built a global production system of 13 overseas facilities in 9 countries complementing our established bases in Japan. F.C.C.’s clutches see wide use in motorcycles built by Japan’s leading manufacturers, including Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawasaki, and in rival bikes from well-known overseas manufacturers. We are proud that our products rank among the top internationally acclaimed clutches. In automobiles, almost all Honda cars with automatic transmissions shift their gears with the help of F.C.C. clutches.

Wet multi-plate clutch for dual clutch transmission

Clutch for 2-wheel dual-clutch transmission with independent two-system hydraulic clutches for odd-numbered and even-numbered stages. Seamless change is possible by adopting friction material with optimum characteristics for hydraulic clutch.

race specific clutch

A clutch equipped with a mechanism (back torque limiter) that reduces back torque caused by sudden engine braking.
The unique structure expands the limiter setting flexibility and greatly improves maintainability.
As a major introduction result, “FCC SLIPPER CLUTCH KIT for CBR1000RR-R” has been adopted for FCC TSR Honda France’s new CBR (CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP).
