The Quality Engineer supports quality improvement of products through various related projects and investigations.
What you will be doing:
- Engages in investigations of quality defects, using problem-solving tools
- Facilitate improvement in component quality
- Monitor and complete analysis to measure trends in quality
- Reporting, data entry, and analysis as needed
- Corrective action, follow up and review
- Familiar with 8D’s, SP, etc.
- Supervise other Quality Engineers
What we’re looking for:
- Adept understanding of gauging and blueprints (GD&T)
- PPAP and SPC experience
- PFMEA/Control Plan basic knowledge
- Data analysis – Minitab experience or similar
- Ability to continue to grow and develop skills
- MS Office proficiency
- Ability to interpret and present data in meetings
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Associate or Bachelors degree in technical engineering or related field
- Supervisory experience
What you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline or production-specific related field required
- 2+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Previous experience in engineering or quality role preferred
- Prior experience with Microsoft Suite and ERP software is preferred
- Communication, teamwork, cooperation
Schedule:
- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Monday-Friday
- Overtime as required
