Role
Support the production department with effective supervision to produce high quality parts in a safe, cost efficient manner. Comply with all company safety, quality and environmental standards. Responsibilities 1. Support creating corrective actions for all safety concerns within your department (SCARs) 2. Identify and implement turn over reductions. 3. Complete associate’s time and attendance records. 4. Support creating corrective actions for all quality concerns within your department (MNCRs) 5. Confirm that all associates are following FCC’s safety requirements at all times. 6. Promote and confirm conformance to the company’s ISO 14001 procedures (recycling, reducing waste) 7. Confirm trainee’s performance and provide feedback to the trainee and department management (Initial Evaluation, Annual Evaluations, Performance Reviews) 8. Confirm your department’s cleanliness and organization daily. Confirm implemented improvements using the 5C principle (Clean, clear, create, commit, continue). 9. Confirm all required quality checks are being completed on time by all associates. 10. Promote and confirm conformance to the company’s IATF 16949 procedures (work standards, check sheets, regulations, quality manual) 11. Confirm work requests includes good detail of the machine issue and the corrective action to resolve the issue. 12. Confirm the daily production schedule (quantities, changeovers, PPAPs) is understood by all department associates and all needed positions have been assigned. 13. Confirm daily shift report sheets for accurate information (Product quantity, down time, scrap) 14. Knowledge of company policies and practices dealing with associate relations (free of discrimination, harassment, violence, drugs, and alcohol). 15. Knowledge and experience of departmental machines, equipment and procedures. 16. Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor and associates 17. Attend meetings as needed to assist with department continuous improvements and corrective actions. 18. Additional projects assigned by management Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements 19. High School Diploma/GED 20. Degree in Industrial Technology /related field or equivalent work experience. Preferred Skills/Experience 21. Manufacturing environment 22. Trouble shooting/root cause analysis 23. Basic mechanical knowledge 24. Supervisory 25. Computer knowledge Environmental/Working Conditions 26. Essential functions of this job require the associate to regularly: sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, carry and lift 27. PPE as required by company policy THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION.
